Innovation Thinking

So much of our corporate thinking is based on last year +10%.  We exist in high beta brainwave state that results in very little energy to use our prefrontal cortex as it was meant to -- intuitive, lightning fast, new pattern visualisation.  Most of the day we are instead focused on fighting the sabre-tooth tigers of perceived attacks on our status, of fear of change, of a lack of trusted autonomy, of feeling like we don't belong here, and of feeling like life is not fair.  All of these mind diversions quash innovation, as we revert to information.  The Creator Worker within us reverts to the Knowledge Worker, and we simply focus on regurgitation for survival.

Katharine works with executive teams and individuals in regaining access our more creative mind through many techniques including her methodology of strategy visualisation and her neuroleadership techniques.

Most exciting, she has joined forces with Al Samuels' Spark Creative, who work with organisations in the art of improvisation.  Al has exceptional experience in improvisation, and with his MBA from Stanford and credentials as a comedy writer and performer for Second City, he is able to bridge the gap between strategy and innovation in an experiential way that is like no other.  Al will be coming to Australia and delivering a one-day improvisation in the workplace on 2 July.
